An Intermediate HVAC Service includes everything in the Basic Service, plus deeper cleaning, minor part replacement, and system optimization.
It’s designed to improve performance, address early signs of wear, and extend system lifespan.
Thermostat calibration
Electrical inspection & tightening
Coil cleaning (outdoor)
Condensate drain flushing
Air filter cleaning/replacement
Refrigerant pressure check
System temperature split measurement
Airflow and duct condition check
Blower motor and fan inspection
1. Performance & Efficiency Enhancements
Inspection and re-sealing of minor air leaks around accessible duct joints
Lubrication of moving mechanical components (motors, bearings, dampers)
Testing capacitors, relays, and contactors for wear and pre-failure signs
Inspecting and tightening low-voltage control wiring connections
2. Air Quality & Comfort Adjustments
Evaluate static pressure and recommend adjustments
Inspect and clean flame sensor or igniter assembly (for gas heating systems)
3. Minor Component Replacements (as needed)
Replace drain line safety switch or pan float switch if corroded
Replace worn insulation or grommets on refrigerant line set.
Approx. 1.5–2 hours per system, depending on access and complexity.
Once per year, or every 9–12 months for systems in heavy use (apartments, commercial, etc.)
Systems that haven’t been serviced in over a year
Homes or businesses with noticeable airflow issues or weak cooling/heating
Customers wanting preventive maintenance before summer/winter peak
